Starbucks Press Release
Starbucks is coming to Spalding at Springfields and is the third big international brand announced there over the last few weeks, following on from Fat Face and Ernest Jones Outlet Collection. Starbucks will be replacing Love Coffee who recently closed to make way for the brand.
Ian Sanderson, who runs Springfields commented “We beat off competition from other centres and this will be the first Starbucks in the South Holland region. We have approved the fit out plans for the new store and are very excited with what Starbucks will be bringing to the centre. It will be something different and we hope the customers will love it”
Starbucks started off in 1971 and today they welcome millions of customers through their doors every day, in more than 17000 locations in over 50 countries.
Mr Sanderson continued “We constantly strive to create something different to any other Outlet centre in the UK, and customers who travel many miles to visit us tell us what they would like to see, but it’s not easy to deliver big international brands when there is so much competition from other Outlet centres. We try and attract names that would never normally consider South Holland or South Lincolnshire to keep that point of difference. The feedback to Fat Face coming in October has been tremendous.
These new store will also create more new jobs than its predecessor. The Outlet Centre provides around 500 local jobs, employs many local maintenance contractors and delivers major benefits to the local economy.
Our staff work very hard creating an award winning centre that is a good news story for South Lincolnshire. It’s been a positive couple of weeks.”

Fat Face will be going into the unit currently occupied by The Works. The Works will relocate to the front of the centre, where Dragon Carp used to be. The current Works store will remain open until their fantastic new store is ready mid-way through this month.
